Ledgerline turns UPI bank statements into lifestyle insight instead of another accounting spreadsheet.

It is multi-tenant with per-user data isolation, encrypts stored secrets, has no third-party tracking and is self-hostable with Docker. Built with Next.js, Express, Drizzle and PostgreSQL.

Features

PDF import: upload HDFC bank statements and every UPI transaction is extracted automatically.
Gmail bank alerts: sign in with Google and Ledgerline reads only the bank senders you allow (read-only, never your whole inbox) to pick up transactions as they happen.
Reconciliation: statement and email transactions are matched, with a review step to approve UPI IDs.
Smart categorisation: spending sorted into food, travel, outings, apps and investments, with custom rules per merchant and recognised logos for apps like Swiggy, Zepto and Rapido.
Daily limit and habits: set a daily budget, see days over the limit, weekly patterns and spending habits.
People and bill splitting: track payees and split expenses with friends.
Telegram briefings: spending summaries delivered to Telegram.
